Program Schedule

Morning preschool classes run from 9:00 am to 11:30 am

Afternoon preschool classes run from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm

Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes are designed for children aged 4 to 5 years old

Tuesday/Thursday classes are designed for children aged 3 to 4 years old

Daycare & OSC programming runs Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Drop-in is available for $40.00 per day, please inquire for availability

Walking services are available to Wes Hosford School (no fee)

Can I book a tour of the classroom?To request a classroom tour, please contact our administration team at activekidsacad@gmail.com

Can my child bring toys from home?We recommend that all toys stay at home unless it is a special show & share day

Can my child bring snacks that contain nuts?No, all of our locations are nut-free

Do I need to provide my child a snack and/or lunch?Yes, we do not provide food for students. Preschool students will need one snack, while daycare students will need two snacks & a lunch

Does my child need to be potty trained?Yes, we do require that your child is able to use the washroom independently

Do you offer transportation services to school?Our Chappelle Gardens location offers transportation to the following schools: St. Thomas Aquinas, Donald R. Getty & Garth Worthington ($100.00/month). Our Sherwood Park location only offers a walking service to Wes Hosford school (no fee)

Is there a daily drop-in fee for daycare?Yes, our daily rate is $40.00, but attendance must first be requested to our administrative team as it is subject to availability

What does my child need to bring for preschool?Indoor: shoes, water bottle, change of clothes & one snack. Outdoor: appropriate weather clothing, bug spray & sunscreen. We highly recommend labelling every item your child brings to our facility

What is your sickness policy?If your child is showing symptoms of diarrhea, vomiting or fever, or requires medication to keep them comfortable, please keep them home for at least 24 hours & until they are symptom free
